ABOUT THIS COLLABORATION
When we first met Alexis Gagnaire (founder of TANAT) and hosted him at the clubhouse, our connection was instant, and by the end we promised one another that we would create something special together. In our wildest dreams we could not have imagined that this moment would arrive in the form of a collaboration built around the legendary Finca Sophia.
Finca Sophia produces some of the most expressive and sought after Geisha in the world, grown at extraordinary elevations in the hills above Volcan. Planted primarily with Geisha and situated close to two thousand meters above sea level, the farm brings together variety, altitude, and intention in a way that feels almost otherworldly. Year after year it has been recognized among the very best in Panama, including a first place win at the Best of Panama competition.
We are truly excited to share this with you. Alexis founded TANAT, originally known as KAWA, in 2016. It is remarkable to think that he has been shaping the third and now fourth waves for nearly a decade.
Alexis recommends waiting until at least two weeks after roasting before brewing, we're going to be waiting longer 😅
We get lots of red berries, citrus and tea-like florals in the cup.
