Founded by Ming Wood and Mabel Yeung, Moonwake Coffee Roasters was created with a simple goal: to offer a moment of calm and reflection through coffee. Based in San Jose, Moonwake combines meticulous roasting with a thoughtful, design-forward approach that reflects the spirit of Northern California's specialty coffee culture.

Their name is inspired by the reflection of the moon on water, a fleeting moment of stillness that mirrors the experience they hope each cup provides. Through carefully curated coffees, innovative processing selections, and precise roasting, Moonwake explores the boundaries of flavor while maintaining elegance and balance. 

Known for showcasing exceptional single-origin coffees and pioneering some of the Bay Area's most exciting experimental offerings, Moonwake has quickly established itself as one of California's most respected modern roasters.
