Not every coffee benefits from the same flow rate. The OREA Regulators let you tailor your brewer's drainage speed, giving you a simple, repeatable way to adjust contact time without changing your grind size or recipe.
Designed specifically for the OREA O1 and O2 brewers, each Regulator sets a maximum flow rate, extending or shortening brew time in a predictable way. Slower Regulators increase contact time and extraction, while faster options preserve clarity and a lighter-bodied cup. The result is a more consistent way to fine-tune your brews across different coffees.
Built on the same open-flow architecture found in OREA's FAST brewing platform, the Regulators maintain even support for the filter while minimizing clogging or stalling. Switching between Regulators changes brew time by approximately 15–30 seconds, offering another meaningful variable for dialing in your coffee.
#2 Regulator (Dark Gray) — Slower flow. Best for extending contact time and increasing extraction.
#4 Regulator (Black) — Faster flow. A balanced option suitable for most coffees.
